Advantages of using Ecorr® RNM

• The high surface activity of the powder provides the compound with excellent mechanical properties.
• When used in a silica based tread compound, the powder improves mould release.
• Used as surface treatment of calandered sheets, rubber powder increases the possibility of air outlet.
• Using in asphalt gives better and longer lasting roads. Reduced noise level, reduced road surface cracking, increased flexibility with extreme cold weather, improved drainage.
• Cost reduction when used in a compound. Compared to traditional high filled compounds, based on cheap fillers such as chalk, a much lower density is achieved.

Ecorr® RNM Process
 

• The powder is produced from carefully selected truck tread peelings and buffings.
• Grinding takes place at ambient temperature, which gives a powder with a high surface activity.
• The sophisticated separation and purification process ensures that the powder is absolutely free of contaminants (steel, fibre, stones, etc.)
• Manufacturing conditions ensure that the tightly controlled product specifications are met.
