Ecorr® RWM - Rubber Granulates

Advantages of using tyre based granulates (Ecorr® RWM)
Tyres are 100% recycable. Their chemical and physical properties make them a valuable resource. Many of the characteristics that are beneficial during their on-road life are equally advantageous when tyre based granules are used as raw materials in applications and products. The principles advantages of these materials are their elastic behaviour, good mechanical strength, resistance to heat, humidity, sunlight and ultra-violet rays, and an excellent price-quality ratio.      

Ecorr® RWM Process
The carefully selected tyres are shredded to pieces of 150 mm x 250 mm. These rubber shreds are ground into particles of 0 mm – 30 mm. Steel is seperated by using an automatic belt magnet (the whole tyre contains up to 30% steel). The next step is the sieving of the rubber particles into different sizes. Particles > 7 mm are feed back to the grinder. Finally remaining steel, textile fibers and other various heavy particles (like stones and glass) are extracted. The end products are packed into by customer desired packaging.
