PAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons)
Goal: producing reclaim without PAH.
Due to European legislation (76/769/EEG) the permitted PAH concentration for the tyre industry is strongly decreased. New developments in our process have made it possible to remove PAH from our reclaim.
NA (nitrosamines)
Goal: producing reclaim without NA.
Nitrosamine formation can be caused by a chemical reaction between components during vulcanisation. Removing NA from the reclaim causes a decrease in health and environmental risks which especially benefits downstream users (e.g. during revulcanisation).
